In my chat with Tim we discuss the instability in global financial markets and the potential for an economic “great reset.” Tim describes to me the disconnect he is seeing between strong stock market performance and underlying economic weakness, such as high government debt levels.
I really enjoyed this discussion with Tim, which covers a range of topics such as increasing systemic risk from factors like rising interest rates, high levels of private and public debt, geopolitical tensions, and the actions of central banks. And he even gives some valuable advice in terms of how best to allocate your investments so you can work to protect yourself during a major financial market correction or global reset.
